Our history in the Fort Walton Beach area goes back to 1954 when my grandfather BR and my father Harold moved their paint contracting business to this area from Alabama. They started a small retail paint store called The Paint Center. While Harold continued the paint contracts, BR ran the retail store with the help of my mother, Jeanette. In 1970 my grandfather retired and sold the retail business. Harold and Jeanette continued with the contracting business, and I joined them following my graduation from Troy State University in 1986. During our long history in the area, we have been blessed to remain busy. We have continually expanded our skills and services by incorporating in 1987, and we were certified as a Lead Paint Abatement Contractor in 1992 from Georgia Tech University. In 1997, we obtained a residential contractor’s license, and in 1999 we obtained a registered builder’s license. We are licensed as a registered builder in Okaloosa County - License # RB 0067101, and have been the contractor of record for several structures built in the local area. In 2010 we were certified to participate in the SBA 8A Program for small disadvantaged minority owned business. These achievements have expanded the line of service we can provide to all forms of contracting involvement.

our history

We specialize in Division 9 renovations and large painting contracts. We have built and renovated an assortment of structures such as, building a Ruby Tuesday Restaurant in Tiger Point and renovating several local restaurants. We have built several 1 and 2 story CMU buildings at Eglin AFB. We have also built and renovated numerous residential and commercial projects on and off the local military bases. We are an experienced prime contractor as well as a sub–contractor.

We have a built a reputation at the local bases as the source for contract support. Our target market is in Government work and we have had many contracts directly with the United States Air Force. Some of these jobs are conducted through contracts directly with the Government and some directly with facility managers paid through the Impact Card Program. We also sub-contract a large amount of work through the SABER Programs at Hurlburt and Eglin Air Force Bases. We have been involved with the SABER Programs as a sub-contractor with various general contractors at Hurlburt and Eglin Air Force Bases since the SABER’S inception.

With the acceptance into the SBA’s 8A Program, we plan on expanding our scope of work and doing more projects as the general contractor. Because of our reputation, we have the support of local labor, sub-contractors, and suppliers. We are excited to see what the future holds for our company and community with the work accomplished by our company. We proceed with optimism and a firm foundation in our Indian heritage and Christian beliefs. We believe in hiring local labor, buying supplies and materials from local providers, and giving back to the community through charitable contributions.

Thank you for your interest in our company. May God bless you as He has us.
